HOUSTON – (October 21, 2022) – Compact Membrane Systems was selected as a finalist for Halliburton Labs, a one-of-a-kind “industrial wrapper” accelerator. Last month our COO, Bill Charlton, and Business Development and Product Strategy Lead, Christine Parrish, headed down to Houston to pitch with 9 other new technology and energy solution start ups to a crowd of more than 350 attendees. The finalists were competing for physical space in Houston and access to the broader Halliburton team as they scale and deploy their technologies.

“We were delighted to be selected as a finalist and that the Halliburton team saw value in our OptipermTM platform” says Business Development and Product Strategy Lead Christine Parrish. “There is a lot of synergy between the Halliburton expertise and our development efforts and I believe being selected could really accelerate the commercialization of our technology”.

Compact Membrane Systems (CMS) pioneers membrane systems for decarbonizing hard-to-abate chemical manufacturing and industrial carbon capture.  OptipermTM is a platform for bolt-on, modular solutions that can be deployed in existing facilities to expand capacity, deliver new sources of revenue, reduce losses, and capture GHG emissions.  OptipermTM carbon offers a low-cost point source carbon capture (<$40/ton). OptipermTM olefins generates product from waste streams. Targeting olefin separation in chemicals production to deliver capacity expansion, debottlenecking, and topline growth while reducing GHG emissions.
