The Position

We are expanding our team with ambitious, driven, creative problem solvers and doers who are excited about tackling a challenge and delivering a new product to market.

We are looking for an accomplished Engineering Technician who is experienced in design, problem solving, and equipment maintenance, and has the ability to read process flow diagrams, process instrumentation diagrams and single line electrical diagrams.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborating with engineers, manufacturing team and customers on new design projects for products, processing equipment and custom manufacturing
  • Conducting bench and field demonstration tests for new applications of membrane technology
  • Working closely with engineers in the construction, repair, and modification of lab and pilot scale membrane test equipment

Position Benefits

The pay range we are offering is $60k-$80k/yr and will be based on experience. In addition to the annual salary, you will receive:

What you bring to the table

  • Creative and self-motivated; Excited about variety, non-routine tasks, and working on multiple projects as a member of several teams
  • Demonstrated ‘hands-on’ mechanical ability
  • Previous experience with design, problem solving, and equipment maintenance
  • Ability to read and create process flow diagrams, process instrumentation diagrams and single line electrical diagrams
  • Preferred skills – general machining (mill and lathe), mechanical and electrical assembly, and experience with MS Office applications or similar software, experience with solvent use.
  • Helpful experience – small volume manufacturing, gas and liquid delivery systems, membrane technology or applications, coatings, polymer processing, chemical processing, AutoCAD, equipment maintenance and calibration, machine control, laboratory and shop safety
