We are looking for a candidate with experience in onboarding, training, compensation structures, and policy development and planning to take a company from under 25 to over 50 employees. The HR Specialist candidate has the exciting opportunity to take ownership of the existing HR function at CMS by developing and instituting overall processes and policies in order to facilitate growth and maintain compliance. Excitement around maintaining and improving diversity, equity, and inclusivity within our naturally diverse company is a plus.
What you will be doing
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies for enhanced employee
retention:
- Team incentives: compensation structure and review, performance evaluation process, employee engagement, etc.
- Training and upskilling programs
- Coaching and leadership development (incl. high potential programs)
- Partner with team leads to understand hiring needs, translate needs into dynamic role descriptions and attract top talent aligned with those needs
- Imbed our values of empathy, diversity and transparency in all aspects of the hiring process including but not limited to job descriptions, external partnerships, candidate screening, and interview training to bolster a culture of diversity and inclusion where people belong and continue to grow
- Proactively identify and plan for upcoming trends within the hiring market, solve for those issues creatively as needed
- Responsible for stay interviews and exit interviews and reporting to team on trends and findings to continually improve the employee experience

- The pay range we are offering is $70k-75k and will be based on experience. In addition to the annual salary, you will receive:

- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting

- Skilled in creating efficient processes, but experienced enough to know when flexibility is warranted
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience, 2+ years of Recruiting helpful but not required
