Engineering Technician

Full Time Position Posting

The Position

The Engineering Technician will collaborate with engineers, manufacturing team and customers on new design projects for products, processing equipment and custom manufacturing equipment as well as conducting bench and field demonstration tests for new applications of membrane technology. They will work closely with engineers in the construction, repair, and modification of lab and pilot scale membrane test equipment.

This role is ideal for the accomplished Engineering Technician who is experienced in design, problem solving, and equipment maintenance, and has the ability to read process flow diagrams, process instrumentation diagrams and single line electrical diagrams.
Responsibilities for this role are broad and will take place in a highly interactive environment.

You will provide assistance in a problem-solving environment with process engineers, scientists, manufacturing team, and customers, in the development and operation of gas and liquid processing systems.

Expected Skills and Experience

  • Creative and self-motivated; Excited about variety, non-routine tasks, and working on multiple projects as a member of several teams
  • Demonstrated ‘hands-on’ mechanical ability
  • Previous experience with design, problem solving, and equipment maintenance
  • Ability to read and create process flow diagrams, process instrumentation diagrams and single line electrical diagrams
  • Preferred skills – general machining (mill and lathe), mechanical and electrical assembly, and experience with MS Office applications or similar software, experience with solvent use.
  • Helpful experience – small volume manufacturing, gas and liquid delivery systems, membrane technology or applications, coatings, polymer processing, chemical processing, AutoCAD, equipment maintenance and calibration, machine control, laboratory and shop safety
  • Associate Degree or higher in a related field and minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment, or minimum of 5 years performing similar job.


  • The pay range we are offering is $28-30/hr. based on experience and performance, plus stock options and bonus.
